Dr. Jensen received his undergraduate degree from Utah Tech University with a major in biology and earned a D.M.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Jensen immediately entered the U.S. Air Force and spent one year in Omaha, Nebraska accomplishing an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency program. After a short assignment to Okinawa, Japan he was selected to begin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Travis AFB, finishing in 2013. Dr. Jensen has practiced full scope oral surgery since completing residency and has been stationed in multiple locations around the world, including Germany and the United Kingdom. He was recently appointed as Chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Travis AFB. After being overseas for many years, returning to northern California is an exciting assignment that feels like home.
Dr. Jensen values patient care, satisfaction and safety above all else. He has been an instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/ALS) for over 10 years, and is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Dr. Jensen is board certified and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Jensen enjoys traveling to new places, hiking, and other outdoor activities with his wife and three sons. He values health, fitness and staying active throughout life. He loves meeting new people and developing relationships with his patients. Dr. Jensen is looking forward to serving the community of Sacramento and Northern California.
